　　杨琪森是一个普通的15岁重庆女孩。特别的是，她在今年高考中考取了691分的高分，被清华大学测控技术与仪器专业录取。

　　Yang Qisen is a 15-year-old girl in Chongqing in Southwest China. She got 691 in this year’s college entrance exam, and she has been admitted by Tsinghua University that is one of China’s top universities.

　　15岁就读大学，还是国内顶尖的大学，她是怎么办到的?

　　杨琪森说“我永远都是班里最小的。”她的妈妈也解释说杨琪森4岁就上了小学一年级。并没有跳级，就这样一直读了下去。但因为年龄小，上小学的时候还经常尿裤子。

　　Yang Qisen said that“I am always the youngest in my class”. Yang Qisen’s mother stated that her daughter entered primary school when she was only four, so she always wetted her pants because she was too young.

　　她妈妈说因为杨琪森的自制力很强，所以她并不担心女儿的学习。妈妈还补充道杨琪森很独立，还会经常帮助她照顾年幼的弟弟。

　　“I am seldom worried about her study, because she has strong self-discipline,” her mother said. In addition, her mother also added that Yang Qisen is independent and often takes care of her younger brother.

　　说到学习的秘诀，杨琪森表示她并不认为自己是一个学霸。她的座右铭是“勤奋是懒惰的另外一种方式。”她很不喜欢一味地埋头苦学，她更喜欢有效率的学习方式。她并不是否定勤奋，而是追求有效率的勤奋。她成功的秘诀就是加强自制力，规律地学习，每次比其他同学思考再往下点、更深一点。

　　Yang doesn’t think that she is a hard-worker. Her motto is “Hardworking is another kind of laziness”. She points out she don’t like immersing herself in studying, and she prefer study effectively. Hence, more self-discipline and deeper thinking is the surest path to her success.
